Thursday 30 April:

• Meet & Greet and Newy town ride

• Feats of strength & daring - 2027 hosting rights

• Social intercourse at Carrington Bowling Club

Friday 1 May:

• Social ride TBA

• More feats of strength & daring (and perhaps even skill)

• Social intercourse at Club Kotara

• Local band(s) booked for your cultural edification

Saturday 2 May:

• “Social” ride venue TBA,

• Australian National SS King and Queen to be crowned

• More feats of strength & daring (and perhaps even skill)

• A gathering has been prepared for the formal crowning of said King & Queen at Grainfed Brewing Company

Sunday 3 May:

• Recovery ride venue TBA,

• Farewell to Newy, venue(s) at our pleasure

The Nuts and Bolts:

3 things are guaranteed.

• Bikes.

• Beaches.

• Beverages. Delicious locally produced beverages fermented to perfection.

• Alliteration

We do recommend you book accommodation soon however. Central Newcastle is not overly well stocked with camping options. So pub, hotel, airbnb are recommended. A small and not comprehensive list of places you can camp and still bike commute to:

The Theme

In honor of our steel-making roots, we’re going full steampunk! Expect dubious inventions and outrageously impractical costumes. Dress up as much as you like and enjoy a weekend where style points are just as important as speed.

Remember, the most meaningful “ride” is on Saturday. Theme up once, twice, three times….it’s up to you.
